The Austin has a removable, full length, biomechanically developed sock, with integral arch support. The Upper design also has a perforated arch section for added ventilation. The heel has been designed to incorporate a specially developed cushioning material, and benefits from the suede heel tip being discretely countersunk into the back to assist with heel leads.
