Gualdaberta Alaide Beccari (1842-1906). She is one of the protagonists of the birth of the Italian emancipation movement, but she is also the director of the first magazine with an all-female editorial staff. The magazine “Donna” became the primary organ of the Italian feminist movement and inspired women to express their voices in the patriarchal society of the Risorgimento. We dedicate this new model to her.
